Space Siege Demo Released, Try GPG's Action-RPG

A demo for Gas Powered Games' PC action-RPG Space Siege is now available to download on FileShack.

Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend, More in Danger as Activision Blizzard Streamlines Vivendi Portfolio

In the wake of the recently completed Activision Blizzard merger, the company has revealed that only five franchises from Vivendi Games' portfolio will be making the transition to the newly-formed company's publishing operations.

The titles and franchises confirmed to make the leap include Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Ice Age, Radical Entertainment's Prototype (PC, PS3, 360) and a yet unannounced title. Those remaining titles formerly slated for publishing deals with Vivendi Games, however, are now without publishers.

Soul Calibur 4 Preview: Online Woes and Overloads

When I first popped Soul Calibur IV into my Xbox 360, I was a bit overwhelmed. In the first few moments I was assaulted with talk of destroying weapons and armor, word of activating character skills, some type of one-hit kill Critical Finish thing.

As someone that sunk countless hours into Soul Calibur II but never touched Soul Calibur III, this was confusing, disappointing, and slightly worrisome. It seemed the sequel had lost the simple pick up and play mentality that defined its predecessors.

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows Comic-Con Trailer Features Foes, Wolverine

From publisher Activision comes the latest trailer of Treyarch's Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Originally debuted at Comic-Con, the trailer details the game's backstory and offering a brief glimpse at fan-favorite Wolverine's appearance in the game.

Web of Shadows is expected to release this fall on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 2, PC, Nintendo DS, and PSP.
