EA to Sell Crysis-ready Computers

Publisher Electronic Arts is planning to sell a line of PCs that will be branded and marketed as machines that can handle Crytek's beefy PC shooter Crysis.

The computers will come in several configurations, and will be released alongside Crytek's upcoming stand-alone expansion Crysis Warhead, according to some blogger.

Brutal Legend Not in Danger of Being Canned, Says Developer Double Fine

Following word that newly-formed publisher Activision Blizzard will not be picking up every Vivendi title in the company's merger transition, developer Double Fine's upcoming heavy metal action title Brutal Legend was seen as a possible casualty.

Now a fresh update to the Double Fine Action News blog has assured fans that the game is in good hands.

Mouse-over text on an image of a dead weevil posted today reads simply, "Brutal Legend is fine." No further details were provided.

Starring Jack Black as a heavy metal roadie forced to battle demons in a fantasy realm, Brutal Legend is being headed up by longtime LucasArts developer Tim Schafer. The third person action game is planned for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Lionhead Planning Three More Fable Sequels

With Fable 2 (360) essentially complete and bound for release this fall, Lionhead lead designer Peter Molyneux has revealed that the company has three more titles in the works for the action-RPG series.

"We've got plans for Fable 3, 4, and 5," Molyneux informed GameTrailers. "It's a big story arc, and you can see—if you play Fable 2, you can recognize things from Fable 1, so that's pretty exciting."
