Duke Nukem 3D XBLA Finished, Coming 'Soon'; Rewards Stripper Tipping, Stepping in Poop

Update: 3D Realms' George Broussard has confirmed to Shacknews that the Xbox Live Arcade edition of Duke Nukem 3D is indeed complete, has passed certification and is due out "soon."

"We officially passed final cert on our first try Friday, August 15th," said Broussard. When asked about a possible price point, he noted that it will be "about what you'd expect."

While Broussard's comments are open to interpretation, most XBLA releases are priced between 800 ($10) and 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).

Publisher Electronic Arts has passed in a new trailer from EA Redwood Shores' upcoming sequel The Godfather 2 (360, PS3, PC), slated to arrive in February, 2009.

In addition to the open-world action of its predecessor, The Godfather 2 includes three distinct locations for missions—New York, Miami, and Havana—as well as "The Don's View," an RTS-like aspect which allows players to manage and expand a crime empire. Chrono Trigger DS Hits Retailers on November 28, Includes New Dungeons, Arena Mode

Publisher Square Enix has formally announced a release date for the DS edition of its celebrated SNES RPG classic Chrono Trigger, slated for release on November 28.

In addition to new dungeons built specifically for the game's Nintendo DS appearance, Square Enix revealed that the game will include an Arena mode, which "add[s] exciting new dimensions" to the classic RPG. No further details were immediately available.

Mega Man, Midnight Pool, Neo Turf Masters Arrive on Wii Shop Channel

Nintendo has announced the latest batch of games hitting the Wii's downloadable gaming platform, with Capcom's classic platformer Mega Man finally arriving on the Virtual Console.

Meanwhile, the update also includes a new original WiiWare title, as well as another Virtual Console offering. As per Nintendo's usual release schedule, the games are available as of 12 PM EST, 9 AM PST today.
